Outdoor Furniture Care Guide – UAE

Use this checklist when reviewing the care instructions for outdoor furniture in the UAE. It is not a substitute for the supplier’s instructions for your exact model. Check the product manual and cushion care labels before cleaning, treating, covering or storing your furniture.

Heat and UV exposure

Check whether the manufacturer specifies limits on direct sunlight or heat exposure, recommends shade, or requires a protective cover. Do not assume that an outdoor-use description guarantees unlimited resistance to heat, fading or ultraviolet exposure.

Poly-rattan and acacia wood

For poly-rattan, check the approved cleaning method and any stated UV-resistance specifications for your model. For acacia, check the finish and the manufacturer’s recommended treatment before choosing an oil or sealant. Do not apply a universal oiling schedule to every wood product.

Cushion cleaning and waterproofing

Follow each cushion’s care label. Confirm whether covers are removable and whether machine washing is permitted. Check the product specifications rather than assuming cushions are waterproof. Only use a water-repellent treatment if the cushion manufacturer approves it for that fabric.

Storage and covers

Check the supplier’s instructions for storage, drying and compatible covers, including any advice for extended periods without use. Confirm whether cushions must be stored separately and whether your furniture is designed to be stacked.

Frames and rust prevention

Identify the frame material and finish from your product documentation. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and corrosion-care instructions. Before using touch-up paint or a protective spray, confirm that it is compatible with the finish.

Assembly

Use the assembly instructions supplied with your exact model. Follow the stated fastening sequence and any tightening or inspection requirements. Ask our team for the correct instructions if your manual is missing.
